WarZ, Xsolla
I tried buying WarZ and had to go through Xsolla, they processed the payment (took the money). Then they say that can't process the payment at this time, please contact customer support. No emails or anything. Is anyone else getting this? I really want to give this game a try and ignore the people saying it's a scam... but when this happens... I haven't even played the game yet or even bought it yet I'm having issues.

That is the WarZ, it is a scam as evidenced by your post, you've been scammed.

See's all the warnings about it being a scam and terrible, and having the worst customer service to date.
Buys it, can't play it, gets scammed.
Woot.

Initially wanted this game b/c it looked like a easier version of DayZ...BUT....

First Clue: Steam no longer sells it, and it was higly promoted for christmas less then a month ago....giant red flag.
Order of events for me: Saw the Steam Page, scrolled, saw the terrible meta score, went to comunity page, saw all the terrible game posts and issues people were having.

DIDNT BUY THE GAME.

Going to go back to trying to figure out how to do anything in DayZ, XD

Yeah that sounds like the thing to do. If a bunch of people say something's a scam, it's gotten nothing but abysmal reviews, the internet is plastered with stories about various shadiness and it was pulled from sale on Steam, you should just ignore all that and buy the thing anyway.

First off you should check your bank account to see if they actually did take your money. If no, then there's no problem really. Otherwise initiate a conversation with Xsolla. Contact customer support like they told you.

If they give you trouble and you're in the appropriate country, I've heard people have had luck sorting things out with Xsolla by contacting BBB.

The idea behind the game seems great. It seems if you get a group with voice chat it can be quite fun. Spoke to them, seems they are having issues with Paypal. Chances are they don't like using them due to many players asking for refunds.

I heard quite a few people on the forums say xsolla support outright told them they didnt want to deal with paypal anymore. I think paypal actually blacklisted them for a bit due to refunds. you may want to check with paypal. They may have blocked it.

Good luck- wether you buy the game or not.

You didn't say whether you bought with a credit card / debit card or with paypal. Either way, you might want to check with your payment source - there are several threads where people have stated that the bank / paypal wanted confirmation before issueing funds to Xsolla.

PC Gamer even warned not to give them your credit card info. These people are notorious scammers and you know from those countries alot of conartists come! They steal creditcard info and rob you blind!
Skyforger Jan 21, 2013 @ 6:34am
^^ So happy hammerpoint and xsolla have never seen my credit card.
mr bigdad Jan 21, 2013 @ 6:37am
So true! I would never give them the info!
