And it was not the minority who were vocal in the oposition to your game it was a considerable majority.
Also can you answer how many refunds have been issued on steam?
I could tell right off the bat that it was just a load of humbug.
Increased amount of players and such?
I'm not buying that lie, its already quite widespread about how BAD this game is and how the devs have been treating us like ♥♥♥♥ for speaking out on things that needed to be answered.
Nobody will EVER buy their games and thus they will be bankrupt before you know it.
Besides, how can Sergey still be in the video game dev business despite the fact that he was one of those responsible for Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing, one of the worst games ever released for PC?
Infact, I would go as far and say that these games make Daikatana, another game considered really bad, look like a masterpiece in comparison.
I would have hoped for more honesty when I saw the subject of the mail. Guess that was expecting too much of them, though...
This is just more lies, and even if it weren't it doesn't even address anyone's issues with the game... the terrible community support and dodgy "foundation release" barely scratch the surface of their misdeeds
This guy still don't know ♥♥♥♥ about the term Foundation. 10 days after Rocket introduced the term Foundation build for the standalone rewrite of the ArmA engine, Sergei Titov simply changed the word alpha to foundation in a word editor. Nothing changed from alpha to foundation, but he figured simply changing the name would be enough to launch on Steam. He probably thought Steam players would be as easily fooled as his own community. Us a "small minority of haters" called him on his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and because it was so fricken obvious, Steam were forced to pull their Xmas sale's top seller for false adverticing.
There's no two ways about it. Sergei Titov is the primary public voice of WarZ and he have adamantly been overselling his inferior game. There's no marketing team to miscommunicate thing to, Sergei has been promesing 400km^2 and 250 player servers from the very beginning, without having a decent engine, which at any point could deliver these mumbers.
The foundation of WarZ has always been filling his pockets, rather than creating a real game. Sergei Titov isn't a game developer, he's a business man and the way he does business, reflect on the state of his games.
Taxi Racer
Big Rigs: Over the road racing
Midnight Race Club: Supercharged!
War Inc.
WarZ
hundreds of thousands of 'refunds' is way more believable than what Sergey is trying to spout off.
"Fool us once, shame on you .....fool us twice......."
* ahem, not gonna happen.
you aint gonna fool me twice fraud-boy.
no thank you, and apology NOT accepted.
.
Your game is not welcome back on Steam.
Why you would want your game on Steam when you were telling people in the forums for The War Z not to buy from Steam, but rather directly from you makes me wonder why you need us so badly.
Go headbutt a bullet.
The War Z trademark was suspended. They copied the menu music from American Horror Story, the wallpaper images from The Walking Dead, the game from DayZ, and the name from World War Z.
