The way players interact with each other is one of the few features that are pretty much the exact same in both games.
Which is a problem that niether game has seemed to try to solve. There is no real need to work with anyone in these games that you don't 100% trust (i.e. someone you are friends with in real life) because you can loot and kill zombies with no trouble solo. The only help you need is in dealing with random players... and by dealing with.. I mean shooting before they shoot you (as there is no real reason NOT to shoot first).
I personally think that as things stand (since the last time I played WarZ and the last time I played DayZ) that WarZ is the better game and is more playable. The main points that lead to this conclusion are:
-DayZ has bugs/exploits in almost every single aspect of the game, and most of those bugs can be fatal. While ISS/WarZ has bugs there are fewer of them, and very few are fatal.
-DayZ has the worst hacking I have ever experienced in a video game. Hands down with the next closest being miles behind it. ISS/WarZ certainly has hackers in it (every multiplayer game does) these are not as prevelant nor as horrendous as are found in DayZ.
-DayZ has the single worst inventory system I have ever seen. It is not user friendly, it is not easy to figure out, and it is prone to deleting all of your items if you don't do things in exactly the right way (and even then it will randomly delete them anyway). Plus this system is famous for how easy it is to exploit and create duplicates of whatever you want. WarZ has a simple, easy to use, instantly understanable inventory system.
-WarZ is built with melee combat in mind and it works well. DayZ is the exact opposite.
If they fixed those things then I would be playing DayZ instead of ISS/WarZ. It is more of the type of survival game that I really want. But with those things unfixed it is just more frustrating to play than it is fun.
Torchlight
In the ways that it is.. yes.
In the ways that it is not... no.
That is as silly as saying Day Z is 100% better.
