The controls are sluggish, the player is slow and the world is too "static".
It as the feel of something that was hacked together, rather than a quality game.
On the upside, yeah the graphics engine may not be the most modern, but it's still a very good looking game.
Even with the messed up inventory system I MUCH prefer DayZ.. it's a much more fluid game and much more enjoyable overall, IMO.
If you REALLY like DayZ, chances are you probably won't like Infestation (WarZ).
If you like the concept of the zombie survival genre and don't like DayZ, then give this one a try as it may fit what you need.
For me, Infestation feels like an incomplete alpha / beta and I'm sorry I spent the $15.
Their anti cheat software doesn't ban hackers, it ban's the non-hackers! Horrible game :(
Oh, and I love how in the game you can now capture ppl for ransom, thats awesome!!
Also the new injury animations.. watching the guy limp around, yup, the animations already blow warz out of the water. + the customization of weapons, and clothing you can find,
Look, in WHAT universe can you logically compare a mod to a standalone game? I mean seriously? Especially when neither is even complete...
Enough with the whole "banned" crap man. I don't care if you were banned. I avoid all discussions relating to bans. Why? Because there is no real proof that those people weren't hacking, just as there is no proof that they were. Yes, there have been tons of false bans before and yes these anti-cheat systems are a load of BS but you NEED to stop with this whole "banned" argument man.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if over 80% of these false ban claims were actually false. Do you remember how many people were hacking before PB? It was like 90% of the playerbase.
I don't support this game, nor the company behind it (especially the company), but I am tired of seeing the same blind hate towards something where there is little evidence to back it up.
Neither of those are even proof.
1) The red wall of text is just text and doesn't actually provide proof that people were either hacking or simply falsely banned. It's just proof that they were banned.
2) People posting here can not be considered as proof that they weren't hacking. Unless you did a full check of their computer in person, there really isn't a way to know 100%.
No anti-cheat system is full-proof, it's impossible. And again, I'd like to point out that I do not support the game or the company.
I really don't think you're understanding my point mate.
I already know that there were false bans. Several thousand of them in fact (if you include the ones back in Dec-Jan).
But what you can't seem to comprehend is the fact that there is NO way to prove whether someone was banned falsely or whether the ban was legitimate. The only ones who know for sure are those that banned them and those who were banned. We cannot choose either side in that argument because there is simply no proof.
That's not actually the point of this current discussion.
The point is that we, as spectators, cannot take sides because there is no proof that they were legitimately/falsely banned.
Anyone who says otherwise, without going into full on technicalities, is an idiot.
