In regards to your question? No it's not a good game. It has very very slow development for anything in game, unless it's in the marketplace in which case it's sorted out right away.
Hackers are crazy rampant in the game, so much so that the games owner wanted to bring in hacker only servers at one point.
You have zombi AI that is laughable teleporting, no clipping, hell even god mode and flying zombies recently.
As a person that plays PVE you only have a couple of options, play on hack infested public servers or pay $50 a month for a prviate server, another option is to play on someone else's private server of course but the thing is, there is nothing to do in the game if you want PVE. Collect a few weapons, run back to your global inventory, collect more weapons, rinse and repeat.
And this is without even mentioning developers that blatantly lie about the game and troll customers. Video and audio of both can easily be found online.
Edit: Oh I see you already own it, bugger the trial then and just try it. You will know pretty quickly if it's you or not. Infact there is a chance when you do go and log in you could find your account banned already.
Exactly this. There's a lot more to it than this but it sums it up pretty well.
DayZ is a just a mod and really cannot be compared to a full release game.
forget this bugged game! Unfortunately it's a good game. Good ideas... but it doesn't work and it is boring to unistall and install it many times in order to make it working.:-(
That said, Valve removed War Z from the steam page for quite some time due to this internet backlash. This is one of the dirtiest things I've ever seen from a developer who frankly, DOES NOT care about any consumer. Want proof? Everyone is complaining about frequent bans, and if you "DARE" post something negative about the game, that post will be deleted by the moderators. They assume themselves important enough that they can censor someones free speech about this game, and then hide it as "Oh, this is not a constructive criticism" or, this post was not in the correct area"
PLEASE do not purchase this title. Please remember their name, and who develops for them, lest they have the balls to try to rebrand their entire company to avoid the negativity.
Oh, look, it also is the only game you own on Steam. Suspicious, to say the least.
@Thread: Stay far, far away
