I have put over 500 hours into this game, and there is nothing that I want more than having steam vac or some form of a better "hack buster" than the piece of ♥♥♥♥ that Hammepoint is using... damn. I love the game. But the hackers ruined it. Its sad that I have come to this conclusion so late.

The punisher you're pretty stupid.. Infestation has ♥♥♥♥ tons of hackers.. I've played for roughly 2000 hours (non steam) purely pvp... Ever since they removed punkbuster about 60% of the community has some sort of hack... Hell I even knew a friend that used cheat engine to ESP and superjump for 8 months without getting banned... The game litteraly has no anti cheat except for fairfight which require MANUAL bans from the devs

I've never had issues with hackers, very rarely do I see them, and the only hackers in this game are wallhackers, and they're pretty easy to kill, lol.

I just started playing again, and what i can tell is that:

I quitted about 6-7 months ago at 1000 hours played, and at that time hackers werent something I encountered often, though I only pvp`ed i smallville. But I was always playing with my clan of 7 players, so if a hacker came by, we useally killed him/her before he could aimobot etc all of us. at that time it was more "funny" to get killed somtimes from hackers. But then I started playing again some weeks ago, and WOW haha, atlest in smallville it aint that bad, but if I pvp for a whole day, 3-4/10 of all the servers, I have met someone hacking. And as I understand it, the game no longer has Punkbuster, so im not surprised it is more hackers. Back in the days, those hacking would normally get banned the same day, but now it seems it takes much more time, since I now in smallwille atlest once per day, have met the same hacker 4-5 days on a rough. But as said, I get to play much against legit people during a whole day, so it isnt unplayable, but annoying :P

One of the problems now I guess, is that people hacking, use something call "no-spread" or something, so no matter how far away u snipe people from, the damage is still the same, because normally the damage drops as the disrance is higher. In other words, if u have life upgrade maxed, hardened AND custom guerilla, K-style, and u are oneshotted from a sniper from like a "mile" away, it is without doubt the no-spred hack. ofcourse also aimbot, sumperjump, esp and no-clip is damn annoying. I just wish hackers could just stick to hacks that is used to duplicate weapons and then sell it for real-money as hackers do, and not hardcore hack legit pvp`ers that tries top enjoy this game.

And for those of u that says u never encounter hackers, u are either extremely lucky, hardcore campers that hardly die or just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Im now close to 1400 hours played, and I can assure you that 90% of the times I die, I know if it is hacks or not. Problem is that unfortunately, some lameass clans that play, in some cases have one guy with them, that ESP for them. That can make it harder to "analyze" them for hacks or not, since all of them except one, are legit. But if u for example get killed by them. dont suspect anything. Then spawn in again or sneak up to them, and it is 100% for sure they cant have seen u, and they suddenly start rushing at where u are hiding, they probably have one or more guys with ESP/other hacks.

So u guys claiming hackers aint a problem, u dont know ♥♥♥♥. BUT again, I only play in smallville, so I cant speak about the situation in other pvp areas, but I dont doubt that hackers are there also. Im glad it aint that bad in smallville atleast :)

And a message for the "devs", get ur ass moving and get "back" a functioning ANTI-HACK!!!! I understand that without, u save more money, but I have been playing way back since the Alpha, and u have been greedy enough these years!

you must be lucky then, because the general population of the game is hackers now... you can even get the hacks with aimbot and superjump noclip etc... FOR FREE!!!

When i left WarZ/Infestion it was like 7/10 were using hacks ..thats why i left (aslong with some other thousand legit players).
So the reputation of this game is screwed anyway, doesnt matter how much hackers r left at all nowadays.
It wasnt an open world anymore, it was more a kind of an open mess.
Speaking about the anti-hack software, in the end i got kicked by it every other 5 minutes, was running very instable (dont know if they fixed it later, but i dont care anymore).
Getting kicked in the middle of a city.... rejoining and finding urself dead eaten by zeds who killed me while i "spawned" back after rejoin... great.
About the money i wasted in this game, a long party at weekend in any pup had had would been more fun. Dont care the hangover.
