Where to find snipers?

I pre-purchased the game a long time ago but didn't play that much then, still found a sniper (awm).
After killing about 50 players with it, I lost it a few days ago and now after about one week of looting I haven't found a new one!

I found several cars and my gi is filled with 30 lmg's 100 ar's and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of ammo, hundreds of meds, more than 15 military rucks and more than 40 alice packs. But not even one sniper.

So please guys, where should I go to find snipers? I know I can get them through PVP but because they're so rare almost only hackers have them now.

The chance of finding a sniper now is very very slim. Your best bet is the miltary base or the airport.

Someone told me i should kill super zombies because he gets a sniper out of 10. Is that also true?

And thanks i will search for them in boulder and the airfield, but i dont like the airfield at all anymore because the best thing that spawns on the helicopters are bandages and medium backpacks!

Oh thanks alot i was aiming for the head all the time!
They need about 150 shots pkm/rpk i most likely use those because i only use stanag and akm for pvp, sometimes p90 and bizon.

Do you know how much Saiga or AA12 shots they need?

You can find a sniper in an item box found at Norad and sometimes, Clear View. Norad will also cough up a sniper rifle from time to time under the antenna or by the tunnel opening. The helicopter in Boulder will also give up a sniper from time to time as well. Ive found a 107 in the military tents at Camp Splinter, too. However, most of my sniper rifles are dropped by super zombies. How many rounds it takes to kill a super depends on how close you are. Ive killed a super with just under a 100 rounds with a 249.
