Looks like there is basically no difference at all. If I understood it right they are scrapping survival mode which pretty much killed my interest in the game and running the same exact client under both listings which makes absolutely no type of sense at all what so ever. lol They would have just been better off bringing this game online back as it was when it closed with the original interface. Maybe some bug fixes and what not, but this game has basically just been turned in to The New Z more or less. So if you already have The New Z downloaded and installed then no need to even bother with this one mate. False alarm basically. lol No need to get out of bed for it. lol I wish them all the best of luck with that though. lol
The reason why they are separate is because if you dont know NewZ had a BR mode, you would never find it, same with ISS Classic mode
It reaches more people. More players is better for everyone.
True more players are better for everyone, but you see BR mode when you start the game along side the other modes unless that's been changed. Breaking the game down in to three separate clients only confuses people which is how this thread got started in the first place mate. I mean is there any difference in these clients at all what so ever? Because I can see it making people mad if they download the same game client twice or even three times thinking it's something different.
Word of mouth, some advertising, and live streaming would work better at bringing in new players. And if they can't find BR mode then they are really going to be confused now trying to figure out what client they need. lol
I mean let's examin that logic for a moment mate and actually think about it let's take Fortnite for example. That has around roughly 9 different game modes at any one given time. If Epic broke the game down in to 9 different clients for the same game because people could not work out what mode to select from the menu then they seriously got bigger issues to worry about then playing these type of games. lol And honestly Epic would loose money for it.
So looking at it from that angle I am thinking to myself how is this even remotely possibly even a good idea? There is no real clarification on what is exactly different between any of the clients which is why people are on the forums confused in the first place. So if it were me then I would have a detailed break down listed some where on the differences and wouldn't leave room for confusion on that otherwise those new players we all hope to see may end up ticked off and won't last very long.
Either way I wish you all the best of luck with that and hope it works out the way your all hoping it will mate. Good luck.
Anyway... is there still a mode that plays like WarZ? And how do I get there?
