Report a translation problem
Our main priority right now is the loot. There is nothing more important than having proper loot in an open-world game.
We have planned a lot of new features and some cool changes such as night zombies, which are more aggressive but also give more XP. This is just an example of what is coming, but we only announce something that has been added completely, so we don't create false hopes.
My focus right now is on the map, buildings, and layout. I would say the map is 50% done. But we also work constantly on the loot tables depending on the feedback of our testers.
Overall we wanna bring Survival as a basic WarZ edition meaning new features that we have added in the past, won't be there on the release. We will check one by one if something makes sense and if it's needed. We feel like we added a lot of cool things over the years but sometimes it feels like we lost the focus on a Survival game. We won't touch Arcade because I mean it's called Arcade for a reason but now we have a chance to bring you guys a proper Infestation.
As of right now we had already a couple of polls.

Then most of the polls about which version of a building people want, like the old WarZ or the new NewZ version and also asking people what they think will be the best for a location such as building change etc.
Map is do 80% done when it comes to loot and buildings/towns.

Update 24.08.2023
Started working on Boulder City. Buildings and objects are already replaced/fixed. Starting to place loot today.

- I had to adjust like 4 buildings where the doors were too small for Zombies and players were able to hide in there
- Loot placement got delayed because of the previous point but I would say it around 30% done.
Boulder City is such a big town, I am also planning to fix all the interiors and bug there aka misplacements, etc.
The good thing is, it's not much left after Boulder.

Overall I would say loot is done to 70% + additional zombie and vehicle spawns.
Beta testers are testing and focusing on Super Zombies right now. It will only drop 1 item by the time and only spawns between Xam-Xpm. The exact time is not discussed atm but our goal is, that it's worth fighting this zombie type but also calculating that it's quite easy for most of the community.

We have thought about how can we set up a nice balance between private and official servers when it comes to loot.
So basically the more players are on the server, the higher the buff for the loot will apply. And no worries, it won't be overpowered on any side. Let's say you rent a server and only farm alone, then your server will have a loot debuff meaning X% less loot will spawn. But if you are on an official server with like 50 players on it, then the server will have a buff by X%.
I am writing X because the amount of % is not fully decided yet but it will play around like min and max 25%.
This way owner of a private server will maybe have like a little bit less loot but still have the rights to farm in peace
This might sound complicated but in reality, it will make sense.
You also might figured the rework takes longer than expected. This is because of the Halloween event, the upcoming new Season Pass, and Xmas. We also would love to finish the rework and bring it out ASAP but we can not leave everything else and have to bring content so players enjoy while waiting.
So basically there is only Norad left to do from the official town list.
Testers are going to finish their tests afterwards and I will jump to the crafting list.
