Yellow Trouble Beta Playtest Phase 3

Phase 3 beta testing of my upcoming shoot'em up and run 'n gun Yellow Trouble has begun. This round adds the run and gun action RPG style Quest Mode where players can level up and build their characters for the fastest clear times. Arcade Mode (shoot'em up style) is also still playable if you haven't tried it. You can sign up for it using the Playtest button on the store page.

Demo feedback

Hi! The game looks promising but please consider adding a separate autofire button for unfocused shot as well so we don't have to mash it (like the additional C-button in Cave shmups). There's always ways around it (joytokey for instance), but it'd be better to have it as an option inside the game :D...

Game Details 10: Beacons

Ever noticed these strange structures scattered around the battlefield when going through an Arcade run? Perhaps you may not even know they exist? They're known as "beacons" and they are sort of hidden in plain sight. The example shown above can be found at the beginning of mission 5 just before the solar farm.

There is a trick to them, though. They are normally invisible but can be hit by normal shots (which briefly expose their locations). In order to fully reveal and destroy them, they must be damaged by focus shots. What are these beacons exactly? It seems the enemy is using them to conceal and enhance its military operations. That green glow they emit suggest they may have something to do with the crystals that are being excavated from the desert as well.

More importantly, destroying all 18 of them in a single run reveals the true last boss in mission X! Continues are allowed, but they only appear on Arcade difficulty or higher.

Add an option to change keyboard controls in demo

I don't have a controller and i tried keyboard controls and they are terrible since i am left handed and i can't for the life of me play any game that has wasd for movement and j,k,i,l for shooting and the rest of it i would usually rebind it to arrow keys for movement and a,s,d,w or something like it for the rest of it but since the demo has no sort of rebinding controls i had to stop playing will keep the demo installed for a few days if it's fixed...
