Report a translation problem
An actual child could write a better story than Pokemon. Thats not really why people play those games. I'll go back to the demo at some point if I can. But I've been playing other games instead.
Even in a story-heavy game, the bulk of the exposition should be introduced at a later point, when the player organically became curious about the world.
People read good books, when they want to read good books. When they play a game, they usually want to play a game, ESPECIALLY when they play a demo.
If your demo might as well have been an e-mail, you did something horribly wrong.
