Nextfest demo period ended

The Nextfest demo is now deactivated. Sorry to those who didn't manage to play in time, but as previously mentioned I won't be able to patch it any longer so it was time to bring it to a close.

Thanks to everyone who gave it a look though, really glad that it was interesting to some of you. Special thanks to everyone who reached out with bug reports and feedback, it helped keep the demo playable and of course will help a lot going forward.

For future development, I'll make sure to post big announcements here but for smaller updates feel free to check out my dev twitter etc. Cheers o7

As regular development is picking up pace again, it will no longer be feasible to patch the demo build. As it has quite a few issues, I'd prefer then to take it down for now.

Just thought I'd post this as a heads up for those who were still planning to give the demo a try. Thanks to everyone who checked it out, really appreciate the interest and feedback.

Demo QoL Patch

This patch is meant to add a few features which seem highly desired. Some small balance issues were also tweaked.

Added context menu (accessed by right-clicking items in inventory.) Includes: unload, consume, remove attachments, and drop.
Items can be consumed from the inventory (it kicks you out of inventory, for now.)
All weapons can be unloaded in inventory via the context menu.
Added key rebinding in Settings (escape menu.)
Title menu and settings menu should scale better with screen size.
Slowed enemy reaction time by 25%.
Enemies take longer to raise their weapons
Tweaked ironsights of Sitka to be more usable without a scope (may adjust more later.)
Added sprite to the auto shotgun.
Slightly improved the harvestable plant hitboxes.
Reduced instances where the interaction text will stay on the screen when it's not supposed to.
