My friends cant join my private server nor can I join theirs.

I did make the server. I invited my friends and it says "Server not responding".

Okay did you port forward on your router. Did you put sv_lan 0 into the console.

look up what hamachi does, its an alternative to port forwarding.

I got the same problem. A friend of mine and me share the same network. So he can join my servers. But others can't. First problem was, that i started the dedicated server at the same computer as i startet the game. So i hostet the server with my laptop and played the game with my computer. Worked. But as i said my friends can't join.
At the moment i guess that it might have to do with the switch between IPv4 and IPv6. I have IPv6 so it seems like my servers can't get out of my network..
Maybe its the same for you. We'll try to use hamachi/tunngle the next time.

That's because you both use private IP. You must port forward correctly so the others can join too. It's private if it's something like 192.168.0.1
