mmm, I'm not going to directly tell a minor how to help them play a rated M game, but I will say if you google it, there is an answer that may possibly still work in this engine using console toggles of gibs/blood.

nope... Half-Life is rated M, this is based off half-life engine and has even more gibs aka, definitely qualifies for M.

You will want to set these parameters as 0.

violence_ablood 0 violence_agibs 0 violence_hblood 0 violence_hgibs 0

The A and H stand for alien and human, so if you still want to see the yellow alien blood you can just set hblood and hgibs to 0.

You can set them in the console or just copy paste them to the bottom of your "common/Sven Co-op/svencoop/config.cfg" file.
I recommend putting them in the config file because setting them in the console does not save the settings.

Oh im sorry, it appears these commands only work when you are the host.

As far as i know your only other option is to replace all the blood effects.

not sure if this works on this game but i know for other source based games adding -lv to the launch options will enable low violence mode. give it a shot.

try
cl_low_violence 1

You could also put this in console:
bind "KEY" "cl_low_violence 1; violence_ablood 0; violence_agibs 0; violence_hblood 0; violence_hgibs 0; cl_show_bloodspray 0"
Replace KEY with the button you want to disable all the gore and you can also try that though some above have said it wont work.. :/

why is your dad such a square

Use the ingame command menu (default button is C) there should be a "settings" tab and in the tab another tab for "violence settings" you can disable gore from there.

Sven Co-op is rated 18+. When you download it from the store you need to enter your date of birth.

I don't think there is a way to disable red pixels in the game. Plenty of changes have been made and we have not had that in mind.
