Setting Up XP Mod
I just now got into Sven Coop after realizing that it exists. Went through and played Half Life, Blue Shift, Opposing Force, They Hunger, Uplink and Under the Black Moon. Really impressed by how much stuff there is to play with people. I figured out how to host a local server and had someone join. It was a lot of fun. Discovered how to enable respawns, vote map, suicide (if need be) etc. But what I really want to be able to do is use the XP mod that I have seen other people using.

I did some digging and its hard to find accurate up to date information. I saw that there are multiple things to install to get everything working. I tried to set it up using 3 different programs like I read to do and nothing worked.

Can someone link a file containing all the necessary folders so i can just drag and drop it into my copy of Sven?

I would greatly appreciate that.

Getting AMX mod X should provide you with the necessary skeleton folders you referred to.

Essentially your server's "svencoop" folder needs an "addons" folder within, then both Metamod-P and AMX mod X go in that. The XP mod is only 1 binary plugin file and possibly a few data/config files of which go into AMX mod X's folders.

Metamod-P: https://github.com/jkivilin/metamod-p/releases
AMX mod X: https://www.amxmodx.org/downloads.php (pick either the Windows or Linux base)
XP mod plug-in for AMX mod X: https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=44168 (though there are likely plenty of other versions/derivatives of it)

Also when you start your server avoid the top mistake of modifying "liblist.gam" to point to Metamod-P's binary instead of Sven Co-op's own. Your changes will be overwritten by Steam any time you revalidate your game or an update comes out. Use the "-dll" command line parameter instead.
