Let me look into this for you, I don't think we changed the velocity nudge from grenades. In 5.0 the armor is a bit more powerful (we're tweaking it, might revert it) - I'm not sure if this is part of the problem.
Are there any instances where you were able to do this before that I can try to reproduce? Otherwise I'll probably just make a quick test level to compare.
I did a comparison between the two games and it seems to be pretty similar. I was able to grenade launch using the explosive crossbow bolts, grenade launcher, and hand grenade.
The main difference appears to be that if armor is being carried by the player, it is near impossible to grenade-jump because of the protection factor. This might be something that we adjust. We're still balancing the skill CFG as we go along with development.
