[HELP] Game is severely messed up.

I had a little 2-day break from the game and now...

- Playerlist shows all players as "DEAD"
- No HUD
- Can't see player name/info when aiming at them
- Can't change weapon
- Can't pick up weapons
- Can't attack most of the time
- Can't change model
- No chat (I think voice chat works though)
- Spray show up as a black "B"
- Sounds are all messed up. E.g. crowbar attack sounds like a machine gun or a barnacle and random sounds are heard all over. I heard scientist dialogue at one point when hitting another player with a crowbar and random, non stop banana attack sounds.
- Random dc's I've never had before.

I always play on the same server:

"Half-Life"
IP 45.77.55.47:27015

This server is pure anarchy (bots, micspammers, trolls, etc) so I wouldn't be surprised if I've become victim to a hacker and something has been d/l'd, found it's way into my game files and broken the game. I can't see it being anything else as I only ever play on that server and I haven't installed anything new or messed with anything since I last played.

These issues persist across all servers. The game is now virtually unplayable.

Might be worth removing renaming your config.cfg and let Sven regenerate it from scratch.
This will be in %programfiles(x86)%\Steam\SteamApps\common\Sven Co-op\svencoop (Copy and paste the path into Windows Run)

did you tried to reinstall the game?, also you cant get attacked from players on any servers afaik, it could be that it got corrupted cause you didnt updated the game a long time ago, or just connection problems, im not really sure, also its quite unusual that you got a lot of bugs in just one period of time, most of them are because of internet problems

Ye, I tried that and a completely fresh install. That didn't work either.
I couldn't figure it out so I just uninstalled and moved on. So weird.

I'm thinking reinstalling Windows might work, as if the issue exists
somewhere outside the games files (but where?), or it could be
antivirus/firewall playing up or a problem with the game itself
associated with my Steam ID... Ah the joys of PC gaming.
