Is there any way to disable http downloads as a client?
I host my own server and webserver on the same computer that I use to play this game and when I connect to the server it attempts to connect to my external ip but it ends up just hanging there for 10 or so seconds then it download the soundcache file. Is there any way I can remedy this?

The soundcache is required by the ingame engine, disabling downloads will render you unable to connect to any servers.

I understand that I was just wondering if I could disable just http downloads and it'll just download them straight from the server. Because what happens is that I connect to my server and it gets stuck on the soundcache download for 20 seconds then it just reconnects to the server but downloads from the server instead of the http server. It is annoying having to wait that long every time.
