Voices really quiet

I've just installed jc3, but the actors voices are too quiet to hear. I am using a 5.1 headset. The audio settings are set to 5.1. The rest of the sounds are loud enough.
Anyone else had any issues like this?

Yes, some voices are good and some are less than half of the volume.... pretty weird.

yah, i countered this by setting sliders to 25% except for voice and set it to 100% then raised the volume from windows, this will ensure all sounds are normalized to the same level without loud music and effects.

Thanks guys. I also found changing the desktop audio from 5.1 to stereo improved the levels.
