Infinite loading screen. [Solved]
Hello. For the past few days (or maybe a week or so) I have been experiencing a particular error with my game. Whenever I try to start the game it firstly seems to work fine, but when the screen of Rico on the beach is changing to the loading screen, it actually never finishies loading; I'am stuck on it forever.
I've been doing everything to fix it: reinstalling the game (2 times), deleting all the files in the directory, changing my resolution, disabling/enabling firewall, scaning cache, windowed mode, running on compatibility with windows 7, deleting some minor files in steam catalog, typing comands in the log in the properties tab on steam, deleting save files, setting GraphicsSSReflection to 1 and 0 and maybe few more that i cannot remember.
Slowly I'm starting to lose any hope. I adore this game and truly want to fix the issue, but the fixes I find on the internet are simply not working for me. If someone knows the answer to my problem and is willing to share it with me, I'd be very grateful.
If it helps, here are my computer specs: 8gb of ram DDR4
Intel Core i5-7600 3.80GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6Gb
Windows 10 64bit

So it turned out I've come with the solution. Game now works fine and all I had to do was to open Volume Mixer and boost Just Cause's 3 volume up to the max. When I play I never really play with the sound, so originally I set that volume to zero. Nowhere on the internet have I found that solution, so I am hoping it might help other users as well as it helped me.

Game ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up again. I didn't even do anything. If someone has any suggestions about what I can do to make this piece of ♥♥♥♥ run again, I'd appreciata ya.

Same issue here, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game doesnt want to load and when it does, it's broken.

I last played it a few weeks ago and steam recently acted as if I had installed it for the first time, when the game finally loads, it's completely broken. I can't access any of the option menu's the one time I was able to, to change full-screen settings the game locks up.

I just reconfigurated my speaker's configuration from stereo to 7.1 surround and the game seems to be working... I... have no idea why, but that just worked... After switching from 7.1 to stereo, the game refuses to load. Just Cause for me only works in that 7,1 surround. Well, that's strange. I recommend trying to switch that in Playback Devices -> right click on Speakers (or whatever are you using) -> Properties -> 7.1. Strange, indeed.

Boa sorte pessoal.

Uninstalling Sonic Radar 3 and Sonic Studio 3 worked for me.

Took me 2 days to find the solution for mine but all I had to do was delete the square enix folder in documents. Discovered this after having problems with eso and someone said to delete the eso folder in documents due to Onedrive issues so I decided to try the same for JC3 and it worked!

Guys, after looking into it for a few hours I've finally found the Solution and the reason.

The reason for this problem is because of OneDrive, for me I wasn't logged in and synced, so not all the files for Just Cause 3 (mainly the game saves) were actually downloaded for me (The Square Enix file was saved from my OneDrive). First I tried to delete the Square Enix file which someone suggested might have worked but I got Error 0x8007016A: The Cloud File provider is not running. And my cloud file provider was Onedrive, so I knew it had to be a problem with it. I then logged into OneDrive and synced all my files, then immediately I ran Just Cause 3, which gave me a prompt in the corner that files for the game were downloading from OneDrive, and wallah, it instantly worked.

Solution 1:
1) - At the taskbar near the right, click on the little up-pointing arrow
2) - If you see a OneDrive icon (looks like a cloud), and there is a red cross on it, some of your files are missing and aren't properly synced.
3) - Go ahead and log in to OneDrive
4) - Launch Just Cause 3 shortly after and you should get a prompt in the corner that files for Just Cause 3 are downloading.
5) - After about a minute the logging in should finally finish and the problem should be solved.

If that didn't work for you, you can try this, but it might delete your progress so far -

Solution 2:
1) - Open file manager and navigate to documents
2) - In there, open the Square Enix file
3) - Delete the Just Cause 3 File
4) - Launch JC3 and see if it works
5) - If it doesn't, delete the whole Square Enix file
6) - The problem should be gone and you'll be able to login.

Tell me if this didn't work for you or any errors you might've gotten and I'll try to come up with more solutions, don't expect wonders because I'm not a moderator or anything, just trying to help the community out.

When using Solution #2 remember that it will delete you save file... so if you have just put all week into playing the game you will have to restart...
