Report a translation problem
I last played it a few weeks ago and steam recently acted as if I had installed it for the first time, when the game finally loads, it's completely broken. I can't access any of the option menu's the one time I was able to, to change full-screen settings the game locks up.
Boa sorte pessoal.
(ASUS ROG Laptop)
now i can finally finish it.
The reason for this problem is because of OneDrive, for me I wasn't logged in and synced, so not all the files for Just Cause 3 (mainly the game saves) were actually downloaded for me (The Square Enix file was saved from my OneDrive). First I tried to delete the Square Enix file which someone suggested might have worked but I got Error 0x8007016A: The Cloud File provider is not running. And my cloud file provider was Onedrive, so I knew it had to be a problem with it. I then logged into OneDrive and synced all my files, then immediately I ran Just Cause 3, which gave me a prompt in the corner that files for the game were downloading from OneDrive, and wallah, it instantly worked.
Solution 1:
1) - At the taskbar near the right, click on the little up-pointing arrow
2) - If you see a OneDrive icon (looks like a cloud), and there is a red cross on it, some of your files are missing and aren't properly synced.
3) - Go ahead and log in to OneDrive
4) - Launch Just Cause 3 shortly after and you should get a prompt in the corner that files for Just Cause 3 are downloading.
5) - After about a minute the logging in should finally finish and the problem should be solved.
If that didn't work for you, you can try this, but it might delete your progress so far -
Solution 2:
1) - Open file manager and navigate to documents
2) - In there, open the Square Enix file
3) - Delete the Just Cause 3 File
4) - Launch JC3 and see if it works
5) - If it doesn't, delete the whole Square Enix file
6) - The problem should be gone and you'll be able to login.
Tell me if this didn't work for you or any errors you might've gotten and I'll try to come up with more solutions, don't expect wonders because I'm not a moderator or anything, just trying to help the community out.
When using Solution #2 remember that it will delete you save file... so if you have just put all week into playing the game you will have to restart...
