Did Rico's race change?
He's gone from looking like Antonio Banderas/El Mariachi to looking like a cross between Adam Jensen & Nathan Drake with brown hair.

He basically went from looking hispanic to looking caucasian/mediterranian. With a last name like Rodriguez, well shouldn't he be Latino...

Also, is the voice actor from the past games going to make a return? Or are we going to get a new voice that's nothing like the previous Ricos?


Rico's look in the past 2 games was perfect IMO. An updated version of Rico from JC1 would have been awesome. Playing as basically El Mariachi was my favorite part about JC. Hopefully there's a skin DLC for $1.00 (or free). :)

Hi,

Nope, he did not. Yes, his look changed in terms of his outfit and hair (it's not black) and also his face will be more unique and defined. But we didn't change his nationality.

The picture released in Game Informer doesn't do him justice. It's just a concept. We are working on a very detailed and realistic picture of him that we will publish next year.

Hopefully, you will like him.

Yeah man he looks more like Nathan Drake from the trailer I just watched. Bring the real Rico back

to me his face kinda looked like wade barret from wwe to me but thats just my opinion

Off topic but isn't spain part of the mediterranean countries?
And don't let names guide you as to what to expect. Got a very french looking workmate that's named Rodriguez.

same person just older also he is from the mediteriania as the places jc3 is set is his home town
