i had a crash yesterday, losing my save like many. :/
http://www.boblandusa.com/Just_Cause_3_Save.html
Mr Geek :)
So again, to make it easy, I would just copy ONE folder at a time(ONLY have one Just Cause 3 folder inside the Square Enix folder) into the Square Enix folder, rename it "Just Cause 3" and start the game, select "Continue" and see where you are at progress and map wise. Rinse and Repeat until you find the save folder that works IF any do. I wouldn't try to cram all those folders into the main Just Cause 3 folder, not sure what will happen, but you can't hurt anything I guess.
Also for backing up saves, just backup the entire Just Cause 3 folder, don't mess with sub-folders or files, just backup the entire Just Cause 3 folder you see in the Square Enix folder, that's how I made the back ups you just downloaded. Anyway, just a thought, it works for me.
IF that doesn't make sense let me know, I can elaborate as needed. Please let me know how things work out.
Much appreciated help as i am a lot less likely to rage quit this game now!
I know what you mean...At first I ranted/posted, pissing and moaning about JC3, for whatever reason it really pissed me off, but as I played more and more I realized how improved it was over JC2 (still a fantastic game) and now I can't stop playing. I love the added complexity, additional vehicles, especially the ocean going ones that can carry vehicles, the improved grapple and now useful stronger grapple lines can be in stragety of getting things done. I actually started a brand new game after getting to the big island only because I wanted to apply what I had learned in the earlier parts of the game and I didn't want to begin the later part of the game, didn't want it to end. This is one of those games I know I will hate to finish. The only thing I really dislike is forced challenges, those can really get annoying BUT they can also be fun, I just don't like the forced nature of them in JC3.
Have fun!
Hey, I saw your post on how to restore jc3 save files but cannot seem to do it right. Each time I do it and start the game. It keeps putting me at the very beginning of the game. Can you please help? Thanks!
