How to use the C4 (GE-54)?

Hi all,

I played the start of the game, and I have forgotten what keyboard keys are default to use for the C4. I have re-mapped the explosives selection from the caps lock key to the G key. However I can't figure out how to place the C4 on an object.

Sorry if I am being a newb.

Also looking for more JC3 Steam friends.

Don0t know the keys because I use a controller but you have to select the c4 and then use the explosive/grenade button to plant it. Hold to detonate

Caps lock is select.
You have to get close and place.
Or you can drop while parachuting. Q blows it.

If you are using a keyboard, you click to place c-4.

You get close to it and you see a green outline that you are close enough and you use left mouse button to place.

Thanks mate. After completing the tutorial and in to the main story a few hours I didn't remember what I needed to do.
Looks like I needed to double click with the left mouse button.

idk whats wrong im having a problem i cant place it neither with keyboard or controls... someone help me it wont let me place it

I had to restart, Started a new game. It then let me place the C4 on objects with a click from the left mouse button. Sometimes I had to click it twice.
