Why is there no New game plus or reset island options
With the sheer amount of time it takes to "max" Rico... they leave us with an empty Island? I can't wait for the "All gear, weapons, and vehicles unlocked at the start" mod.

There is a new game available, just press Esc in game then choose start a new game!

He means New game+ (starting a new game with all of the upgrades you have).

It's a shame. NG+ used to be almost standard in video games. Now it's such a rarity. It's not like it's hard to implement so why in the hell don't devs do it. Especially for games like this... especially.

It was never standard. In fact, it was basically only the Batman games, and who ever actually bothered with that? "I just finished this long game and I'm bored with it now... time to play it again!"

Borderlands franchise has always supported NG+ as well as NG++. Builders all tend to have a +sandbox as well.

And Ratchet and Clank games, Resident evil 4&5 (I think), Dragons Dogma, Dark/Demon's Souls/Bloodborne, Deus Ex: HR, Far Cry 3&4 (sorta), Dead Rising, etc...

There are many things that is not added in the game =). There is a list in the sticky topics about what the dev should add in the game. Go post your ideas there and maybe it will be listed as well.

makes no sense they dont add it, by the time you finish the game all the stuff you unlock becomes useless if you liberated everything with no enemies to kill.
i heard you can reset regions to liberate again though.

wait so can you also reset "oppressed bases" or just "towns" im asking because i may have screwed myself on a certain 'western' achievment and have only really tough bases left that i would rather just enjoy taking apart in whatever way i want.

That's because games were much smaller. Games that featured NG+ like Resi and crew, could all be finished in a day....
