does that mean this game wont work with family share?

starting steam in offline wont help

you just say NO and skip to loggin in.. it never asks again,

or shouldnt

their drm isnt asking to log in, its syncing with steam to see you have valid game key and seeing what dlc you have or dont, and then refreshing leaderboards
THATS ALL THIS DRM ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DOES stop suggesting its some bad odd stuff

even the pirated version people complain about with same issues, long load times, stutters low fps etc.. so its NOT THE DRM..
period

im a anti drm guy myself, but if you want that... stick to GOG.. they rock

why are you posting this here? no1 here has mentioned anything you are ranting about. The 1 thing you did say that does relate to this discussion
("you just say NO and skip to loggin in.. it never asks again,")
Isnt true, if you skip log in it will try to log in again after a certain time.

And my problem with DRM has nothing to do with stutters or fps its that they tend not to work with family share or in offline mode which i use both off. I havent tested if thats the case with this game but wanted to know if i could disable it just because that would be the simplist thing.
The Nothing Man 3 dez. 2015 às 16:03
huh?
mr you dont even own this game, so im assuming you pirated it..
gtfo of this thread, seriously we wont help you fix your pirated copy.. ffs

call support say hey i downloaded this game, and urmm yeaa..

go away

urmm I digress easily,
but thats besides the point, so did you, trolling when I just spammed

for me, I just logged in, linked up, and it never bothered me again
sooo cant friggen help ya if you didnt link up,
i get NO messages to do anything about logging in,

nothing more than i would get playing clicker hereos, etc, logged in as.. blah blah..
etc.

someone mentioned DRM being this cause, hence my post, soooo mine is on topic, just muddled

your post however... is just a troll post with flamebait.
all bad mate take that tude elsewhere :)
bring a smile!
we all got ripped off!

to the original poster, no there doesnt seem to be a way to stop it. Even if you say you want to play offline it automatically tries to log you in and if successful will then log you out again and so on. its probably the drm or something to do with cross game leaderboards or some such crap. It gets very annoying for people who dont have strong internet connections or like to do other things online or download.

For Win 7, this is how to do it (Win 10 may be similar but I'm not sure):

1. Control Panel
2. Window's Firewall
3. Advanced Settings
4. Outbound Rules
5. New Rule...
6. Add the "program.exe" that you want blocked (in this case, JustCause3.exe)
7. Block Connection

I did this on day 1 of the game's release after all of those leaderboard popups in-game were annoying the hell out of me and never looked back. :cybereye:

thx ^^ i will try that
Steven Brattac 4 dez. 2015 às 0:45
that works on win 10 as well yep
just be patient with loading screen it needs some seconds till it ask you if you want to play offline or not! at least on my system it does.

a nice tick box in setup would be best, like disable in game leaderboard popups, or login etc..
idk

a launcher woulda been nice too
so we can change in game stuff in a window before getting into the game
