Just Cause 3 wont launch!

hey everyone whenever i start just cause 3 task manager says it is running but the game doesnt show up at all ive tried checking the cache files and changed compatability but nothing works please help!

I've got Just Cause completly installed but I try to launch it and nothing happens. I just get a little window from steam saying it's preparing to launch but it just stays there. I don't know what to do.

Been playing it on/off for 3 days (today also) and now the game won't even start for me. Wtf is going on? My pre-ordering days are over for sure.

this is bs indeed. well you live and you learn! Avalanche fired some of their workforce prior to the release of JC3 so in a way it is their fault as the game is bugged as a mf. totally not worth the money in my opinion.

I hope this issue doesn't become more common; that being that you have been able to run this previously, but not anymore.

This just fixed it for me (was a BEX 64 error):

1) Run cmd.exe as adminstrator, once the cmd prompt opens up, type the following and press Enter:

bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff

2) If done correctly, you'll see the message "The operation completed successfully"

- If you get an "Access denied" message, then you didn't run cmd.exe as administrator.

3) Next, restart your PC

4) After your PC restarted, try running the game again

5) Hopefully you'll be playing at this stage
