Flickering textures
Anyone experiencing this issue? Randomly some of the textures start flickering. Btw I am not talking about Aliasing, the whole texture flickers - fades and unfades rapidly.

I am not sure if it is the Texture that flickers or it the game lightning and shadows flickering.

Yes mate, I am encountering the same issue. Not all textures do it and I notice it doesn't seem to happen in cutscenes. Hopefully a patch or driver update will fix it. It's almost game breaking in regards to impacting my enjoyment of the game.

I still get distant mountains flickering in Skyrim to this day since launch, had all different specs since then too..

I'm certainly noticing the shadows flickering, especially when transitioning from night to day.

I see this some as well. Rapidly moving the camera around has fixed it, as has alt-tabbing, going into the menu, or simply waiting.

So I am not sure what is causing it. I do have the latest Nvidia drivers installed, too.

Running the same as you exactly - and Ive had it a few times. Game runs perfectly, the flicker is that random, that i don't let it phase me from this awesome game

Absolutely. Seems to be lighting related.

It's SSAO turn it off and it goes away. However it won't look as nice but the flickering is annoying.
Is this a nvidia specific problem? I'm running a gtx 970

Getting flickering espeically in walls. It's random. Sometimes it doesn't happen at all but when it happens you notice it.

I thought someone said that nVidia would be releasing a "game ready" driver update for JC3 either today, or sometime this week. Hopefully it will fix this kind of thing.

I tried turning SSAO off and it didn't stop the issue for me. A driver update shouldn't be too far away with any luck.

same here same specs

The flickering is caused by global illumination. Turn it off. You lose some visual quality but then again it doesn't work properly half the time anyway.

This game is running very well on my system too. 3570K, GTX970, 8GB.

But after a while the sound doesn't work. It's "stuttering"(?) when I'm driving a car after a while. But only the car-sounds, every other ingame sound is ok.I hope it's a software problem, I've bought my Soundblaster Zx only a few weeks ago. I've got the same problem with Red Faction: Guerilla.

I have this flickering problem sometimes with GTX 980 video card. Anyone found solution to it? Drivers are updated.
