No sound?

After the opening beach, I hear the birds and water, but gameplay has no sound

Me too, right from the start intro. I also think I'm not getting menu press / navigation sound also. Running my disk and reg cleaner, I'll update here if anything helps.

I have headphones im using and tried this (might work on regualry speaker) go to your device sound menu (there are alot or version and diffrent device sound menu for diffrent pcs and device) easiest way to find it should be on the bottom right off start bar. go in there and turn surround sound off i switched to stereo.

I had that problem too, so I ran the game in admin and put it on Windows 7 compatibility and it fixed it. (I'm on Windows 10)

the only issue was with voice in game, lips were moving but no sound. so i guess my issue was diffrent from yalls. Sorry it didnt fix it.

Had same issue. Just restarted my pc now I'm good to go!

Had to restart the game and sound came back

for me it was the opposite solution, i switched from dolby to stereo. A bit odd with headphones

Any of you guys have logitech headphones? thats what mine are..but appears tempermental, even with them unplugged it happens. I start game..wait a min for stupid beach scene to end, and sound disappears, restart game and it works..everytime i'm really starting to hate that beach opening due to it.
