Well that would make sense. Does game debate get access to games before they are released?

Depends on how is JC3 doing review copies. Usually, reviewers get copies a couple days before, so they can have finished reviews up day one.
It's a bit early for that, but that is not the only possible source they can have the sysrq from. Last time i checked there is more than one box copy of the game out there.

I'm a little concerned with the requirements for the GPU (minimum states AMD Radeon HD 7870), and this is what I have for my system:

OS: Windows 7 64-bit (SP1)
CPU: Intel Core i5-3330 3.0GHz (Quad Core)
RAM: 8 GB System Memory
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series
GPU RAM: 5 GB Video Memory
DX: DirectX 11

I'm okay with all of the other specs, except for the GPU. Would this be a major issue for playing the game, or does anyone know if I should be okay with what I have?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Which of the 7700 series though? There is a bunch of cards, some much better than others.

Yes they got it from twitter. I told them to update the requirements once the twitter was leaked :)

Thanks for replying! :)

Took a little while to find the box as the PC specs list don't specify.

I have a AMD Radeon HD 7790

I can play the likes of AC: Unity and MSG V: Ground Zero on ultra settings, If that helps.

I'm pretty sure you can handle just cause 3 at medium settings around 50-60fps

Medium settings will do fine for me.

I've just done some digging around on the AC Unity GPU spec (AMD Radeon HD 7970), which is greater than the Just Cause 3 GPU spec in the link above: AMD Radeon HD 7870.

I think you're right and I'll be okay with the graphic settings. AC Unity is greater than JC3 in terms of GPU, and I can play that with no problem.

If worse come to worst, I can just request a refund, after trying the game out.

Hope it works okay, as it'll be a great Christmas treat for myself!

What FPS are you getting on Unity? If you can run it on ultra you will be able to run this game better then Mallarder is prediciting. I have a GTX 650 Ti Boost edition and I will be able to play this game at medium and high settings.
