Not quite what I was hoping for, but the fact they at least acknowledge it is a good thing and means that there will most likely not be a last second delay. Despite my continued frustration over lack of PC requirements, my interest level in Just Cause 3 is still fairly high for the time being. Here’s hoping that the system requirements will be out soon so that my anxiety and the anxiety of other PC gamers who want to play this game can be put to rest for once and for all.
I'm sure I'm worrying over nothing, tbh - my PC can play AC Unity, MGS V: Ground Zero, Attila Total War, to name a few, with Ultra settings and have no problem at all with gameplay or graphic quality.
I'm quite psyched for this game as JC2 was absolutely fun to play and I love the diversity in how you complete a mission. For instance, one of my favourites was of parachuting onto a moving limo, which I then had to hijack and flee in, whilst militia pursued me on jeeps and bikes.
It was quite clear that I wasn't going to be able to escape them on roads, so I launched myself off the road and down the mountain with hillarious results.
The only problem I really had with JC2, was not being able to replay missions, unless you started the game again.
Everything else was excellent.
I completely agree.
Most people with gaming PC's don't have the absolute best of the best, and how can you pre order a game that you have no Earthly idea if it will run on your system or not?
I have a laptop that can run every game out now, but I haven't a clue of my 770m will run this game and make it playable. Not everyone has PC's with 980's and I think that Avalanche really needs to release those specs or risk losing out on a ton of last minute pre orders.
If I knew my laptop could run this game, I would order it immediately to cash in on the pre order bonuses.
Its one thing to buy a game sight-unseen, which is what you have to do with pre ordered games. But to buy a game without even knowing if you can play it?
It baffles the imagination. Not even sure if Steam has a refund policy for situations like buying a game and then it doesn't run on your system, nor is that even the point.
Avalanche really needs to get their sh*t together!
Not going to be ready to upgrade PC's for a while, so that is a non issue. I will probably wait a few more days, then maybe just gamble on the pre order, as long as i can get a refund if I can't get the game to run right on my lappy.
Judging by the games in your library (DAMN, that's a load of hours), Metro 2066 is the most demanding. What was your experience? Specs? If I could know your specs, I think I would be able to judge off of Mad Max's requirements.
