No PC System Requirments for JC3 = No Sale
I am baffled and dumbfounded by the fact that the PC version of Just Cause 3 has no system requirements only a week out from launch. This is totally unacceptable and strongly seems to suggest one of two things:

1.That the PC version of Just Cause 3 will be delayed at the last second.

2.That the developers of Just Cause 3 are hiding the fact that the PC version of the game is horribly optimized.

I was looking forward to getting Just Cause 3 on PC, but with the developers refusal to put the system requirements out I have put buying this game on hold. As a matter of fact if the system requirements for this game are not out soon I may end up buying another game all together and skip getting Just Cause 3 on PC.

worst case scenario, if you can't run it, you can always get a refund. In all other cases you get a 10% discount if you order it now
+1
It wont be delayed. They will reveal the system specs soon they said on twitter. They said ''very soon''. Can't imagine how stressed and pumped they are to release this game. They are under heavy stress right now.

The game went gold a couple of days/weeks ago so no it wont be delayed guys.

For those of you who are worried about the lack of PC requirements for Just Cause 3 (like me), I have some partially good news. Avalanche Studios via the Just Cause Twitter page have confirmed that they have yet to reveal the system requirements as of the 18th of this month.

Not quite what I was hoping for, but the fact they at least acknowledge it is a good thing and means that there will most likely not be a last second delay. Despite my continued frustration over lack of PC requirements, my interest level in Just Cause 3 is still fairly high for the time being. Here’s hoping that the system requirements will be out soon so that my anxiety and the anxiety of other PC gamers who want to play this game can be put to rest for once and for all.
Not worried about the optimization at all. These developers have continually proven they can be trusted in that spectrum of PC gaming.
The game engine is very good. Just apply the JC2 system specs to JC3 and will likely be the same. The only reason I will not pre-order this is that I keep getting screwed over on them.

I'm sure I'm worrying over nothing, tbh - my PC can play AC Unity, MGS V: Ground Zero, Attila Total War, to name a few, with Ultra settings and have no problem at all with gameplay or graphic quality.

I'm quite psyched for this game as JC2 was absolutely fun to play and I love the diversity in how you complete a mission. For instance, one of my favourites was of parachuting onto a moving limo, which I then had to hijack and flee in, whilst militia pursued me on jeeps and bikes.

It was quite clear that I wasn't going to be able to escape them on roads, so I launched myself off the road and down the mountain with hillarious results.

The only problem I really had with JC2, was not being able to replay missions, unless you started the game again.

Everything else was excellent.
Ask all the youtubers they gave copies too. But most of them prob too clueless to even know and tell you.

I'm pretty sure all the youtubers which played the game got were borrowed a computer with the game on rather than actually being given a copy for their own computer.

As much as I hope that is the case, it doesn't necessarily means this game will be as good as those.

I completely agree.

Most people with gaming PC's don't have the absolute best of the best, and how can you pre order a game that you have no Earthly idea if it will run on your system or not?

I have a laptop that can run every game out now, but I haven't a clue of my 770m will run this game and make it playable. Not everyone has PC's with 980's and I think that Avalanche really needs to release those specs or risk losing out on a ton of last minute pre orders.

If I knew my laptop could run this game, I would order it immediately to cash in on the pre order bonuses.

Its one thing to buy a game sight-unseen, which is what you have to do with pre ordered games. But to buy a game without even knowing if you can play it?

It baffles the imagination. Not even sure if Steam has a refund policy for situations like buying a game and then it doesn't run on your system, nor is that even the point.

Avalanche really needs to get their sh*t together!

If any of us can't run it, then we could always refund, or upgrade your PC's. Or, you could always buy a gaming laptop (which will be outdated, but will allow to squeeze it to optimal peformance). Besides, I am getting an Alienware Alpha, so I am definite that the game is going to run on my end

Not going to be ready to upgrade PC's for a while, so that is a non issue. I will probably wait a few more days, then maybe just gamble on the pre order, as long as i can get a refund if I can't get the game to run right on my lappy.

Judging by the games in your library (DAMN, that's a load of hours), Metro 2066 is the most demanding. What was your experience? Specs? If I could know your specs, I think I would be able to judge off of Mad Max's requirements.
