How to use Fire Leech?

How does this special weapon work? I've tried everything I can think of but I can only get it to lock on to the first thing I aim at when I click. Has anyone figured it out?

Yeah it seems to be bugged since release. Usually you just hold and select one target after the other which does not work. It only selects one target for me as well..

Try turning 'precision aim' off ( in the MODS menu) , see if that helps. When I hold down the right mouse button I can select a number of targets.

You may also need to restart the game after turning that mod off. At least that's how it works for me.
