So where do i continue story missions?
If it's ONE THING i can't stand, it's poor information on games, in 2015 nontheless, i can't seem to find ANY whereabouts of a story mission or anything.
I'd like to know where and how, letting me figure this out in a world this large, i'd just stop playing, honestly.

get in a plane or heli and fly round so that places get revealed on the map
then maybe look in jc3 gameplay wiki or use your brain to uuse your search engine to find what to do - youu attack bases etc and do quests to get unlocks

♥♥♥♥ing lol. Maps have been around since the 5th century to help people find charted locations and the OP didn't even think to use the in game one.

It is not really obvious which ones are the main mission markers. They could have stated that in a message like "The yellow bulls on the map are the main missions".

Totally agreed, I started yesterday, would have never guessed the yellow bull was the main mission.
I was taking bases out, even took some majors one, but I had to work so hard.
If I knew the Bull was the story mission, it would probably be a lot easier and quicker to do what I've done

I can see how the symbol of the rebels your allied with wouldn't be a hint. Or how you wouldn't ever just check one out to see what happens. and thereby learn that it's a story mission.

That takes more time than the dev making a legend for what is what.

Yeah, they probably should have told us that the blue stuff was water, too.
There is a legend on the map aswell, but I guess you guys didnt bother opening that up either.
Maybe I'd know where to go I could could understand this npc. Also maybe I'd know where to go if there was a text log so I could read what he said. The fact this thread exists and that I searched google and found this thread proves its bad game design.

This isn't Morrowind, where you were given actual directions to your next destination (head out of town to the east, go left at the fork, follow the river, and so on); there's a big honking symbol of your army on the map. And if you're still confused, just go there and boom, story mission starts, so now you know it means "story mission". God forbid you have to put in ANY thought.

How would a new player, who skips all cutscenes, know that is your army? Riddle me that Rodrigo :steamhappy:
By not skipping cutscenes--not the devs fault you skipped essential information and then went "Derp, where's this essential information? Game bad!"

Yep I have to agree, it seems more and more players need their hands holding over the simplest things, they do not want to put the effort in or like above are skipping things, then blaming the game and the devs, when they are the ones who chose to skip the cutscenes. God forbid as you pointed out they try to play a game like Morrowind (which I love), they would never leave Seyda Neen as there would be no map marker.

You do realise that the skipping of cut scenes is kind of for the people who have already been through the game and have already watched the cutscene and know what the information is.

New players should not be skipping cut scenes, thats whey they are there to give the player info and move the story on. Its not rocket science.

So you are blaming the game or the devs for something you chose to do, seriously?
