YES YES YES - LAG & STUTTER 100% FIX HERE

Step 1 - Launch JC3 with NO Game Pads/controllers connected.
Step 2 - Get into actual gameplay.
Step 3 - Now connect your game pad (xbox one controller)

Lag & stutter is now 100% gone for me.

For some reason everytime i start JC3 with my xbox one controller connected to my pc the game lags bad.

Everytime i start JC3 without my xbox one controller connected, i'm stutter free.

note:i upgraded my ram today 8 gb to 16 gb,maybe this works for me i can't sure about this.

I know it seems crazy but when i launch jc3 with xbox one controller connected i get bad lag and stutter. So i quit game and unplug xbox one controller. Then start game. I play like 30 secs with mouse and keybord and game runs very smooth. Then i plug controller back in and its still very smooth.

For me the game doesnt like me starting with controller already attached.

Sounds like a firmware issue on your end.
What i did to improve my FPS was to get 16 gigs of memory. Had to get a new processor though, the one i had was bad and would only read 4 out of 8 gigs.
8 simply isn't enough, i checked my task manager and i was using 9 gigs total.

Well Far Cry 4 had a problem like this if you conected your xbox 360 pad to your PC it would screw up the game big time if you loaded a save during a mission it would not trigger anything so you where left stuck doing nothing.

Thank you very much for the fix game was unplayable after the patch because of the stuttering just connecting the xbox one controller after the game had already started worked very well

Damn this really works. I am using a Titan X at 1080p at a smooth vsync 60fps but very so often it would stutter..... I tried this trick and so far been playing for 2 hours without a single stutter or hitch, yippee :)

I have a GTX 970 and using this workaround i now have zero stutter.

Guys, for those of you who are still having issues, i dont know anythign about a controller, but what i do know is that if you go into your firewall settings and disable access for just cause 3 it fixes 90% of the lag, since I have a laptop, the remainder of the lag came from gpu throttling but oh my god does that make the game so much more fun and playable. Optimize pc get rid of stutters
.

STEP 1.a Download Game booster by razor google it . Use the boost option this will optimize ram by free as much as possible this will make performance on pc .

step 2 in game settings lower them to lowest settings

step 3 go into windows firewall and block the just cause 3.exe take check out of public. Improve perfomance. Keeps it from connecting to ♥♥♥♥ network .

step 4 if your not using 15.7.1 whql driver uninstall what u have now .use the amd catalyst uninstaller in control panel. reboot your computer this is necessary to avoid any issues my pc has ran for 5yrs now so follow these instructions. reboot pc then move to next step 5

Step 5 Download amd cleanup utitity run that removes all traces of amd driver . REboot again.



STEP 6 GO HERE GET THE 15.7.1 THESE ARE WHQL http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/legacy?product=legacy3&os=Windows+10+-+64 <-----------best driver on the amd platform tested to determine this running the JUST CAUSE 3 APP. IMPROVES PERFORMANCE ON AMD PLATFORMS
STEP 1 WILL HAVE TO BE DONE TO GET optimized PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENTS

PERFORMANCE HITS WILL HAPPEN IF YOU DO THE FOLLOWING CTRL+TAB
Dont run any programs that involve fps capture .Afterburner , fraps close them out.
