Looping "Performing online login"

Every time i open just cause 3 in 2016 the "performing online login" screen loops over and over again and wont let me play. I just bought the expansion and wanted to play but it wont let me. Please help!

I'm having a similar problem. Every time I try to play, it tries to log in, and fails. If I try to play offline, it just ignores that and tries again. Really annoying and I haven't had any problems up until now. Even if I disable my wifi connection and try to go in offline mode, it still fails to start the actual game. Hope anyone knows how to fix!

*Update*
Just tried turning off WiFi again and instead of trying to login, it just sat at the home screen until I reconnected. Once again, never had a problem like this before, and I've never downloaded any DLC yet

i dont have mods
and my game wont start lately
either stuck at login
or freezes where rico is in the deck chair
and no buttons work = kbnm
i have verified and checked for drivers and updates
still the game wont start

Oh and if the game shows a window saying unable to connect to internet, disable the rule in firewall, wait for the JC3 splash screen, go back to adv firewall settings, enable the blocking rule for JC3

OMG okay so I read the comment "remove all mods". All I did and it's now working that god is that I went into the Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > Just Cause 3 and delete the dropzone folder, if yu don't have one then I have no clue but this worked for me and thought I'd share it with you lads since you deserve to paly a game you've spent what, $80 on... Hope this works

everyone here is talking about removing mods, so that may be something you could try?

But what if... just if... you just downloaded the game and don't have any mods installed? It doesn't work for me at all, not even in offline mode.
