JC3 AMD users fixes- what we have so far.
Right... as an AMD user myself, it is fair to say jc3 is NOT the best-optimized game for me, and i know many other AMD users have experienced many issues, which include crashing, stuttering, freezing and fps drops. Obviously, updating your hardware (most importantly RAM and SSD) will also have a big impact. The possible fixes are as follows:

-Before trying anything, I would recommend verifying the integrity of the game cache, then seeing if it runs.
-Also, make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your GPU, and according to this[www.pcworld.com] , beta drivers actually help.

CRASHING
-If changing the resolution causes the game to crash, try manually tweaking the settings.json file.

-Go to /Dcouments/Square Enix/Just Cause 3/Saves/0 and open settings.json file.
-Set ‘DisplayFullscreenWidth’ and ‘DisplayFullscreenHeight’ to any desired resolution. This will allow the game to run at the specified resolution without crashing.

-Crash after intro
-the only known fix seems to be turning screen space reflections off.

JC3 has stopped working
-try changing the compatibility mode to Windows SP2 or SP3. To do this, right click Just Cause 3.exe file, go to properties, then change the required settings in compatibility tab.

STUTTERING+FPS DROPS
-The method I used after many hours of reddit research was changing the sound options to 16 bit. Also, this combined with unchecking 'allow apps to have exclusive control over this device' helped a lot with stuttering.
-Turn off motion blur
-run the game as administrator
-disable Vsync- BIG FPS BOOST
-disable steam overlay
-run in windowed mode, also set \borderless \windowed in launch properties.

And the method that works best for me:

-Underclocking your GPU. I would NOT attempt an overclock, as it left me with 7-17 fps. Underclocking to -0.8, however, left me with a solid 45fps, although well away from that 65 fps I got when I bought the game.

TERRAIN NOT LOADING

-Go update dem drivers :)

FREEZES

-Add more Virtual Memory
-Underclock your GPU

CANNOT CONNECT (general issue)

-Get rid of the dropzone folder if you have mods installed.

If you have anything to add, leave a comment!

i've had no issues with either of my AMD GPU's honestly. R9 390 or my R9 270x. the only thing that seems messed up is Vsync. so i just disable it and it runs butter smooth for me.

Yeah but users with R7's, etc, seem to have issues. You running an intel cpu? AMD CPU's seem to be playing up as well.

yea i use an intel CPU. i do however have an fx8350 PC but that rig is currently in pc's due to a faulty Motherboard i need to replace. so i couldn't really answer for the AMD CPU's perf on this game.

i CANT FIX
-try changing the compatibility mode to Windows SP2 or SP3. To do this, right click Just Cause 3.exe file, go to properties, then change the required settings in compatibility tab. But otherwise, I'm not sure your onboard graphics are enough to power JC3...
