Was mercenaries 2 ever on steam, If so let me know please i want to know and don't be rude to me i just never knew about steam and till 2015.

ya its sad and when i played the button promts were immages not keys thus making it practically unplayable

I'm just annoyed they closed the official coop servers years ago. Although there's a workaround somewhere on the web with Hamachi at least. And as for the button prompt thing, someone made a mod to fix that. you can also plug in an Xbox 360 controller and it will switch to 360 button prompts making it much easier to play.

Yeah it sucks mercenaries is one of the best open world map games i ever played

I wish Mercenaries 2 world in flames was on Steam and same for the first Mercenaries. Also really sad the 3rd one got canceled. Just so many amazing game IPs going away and it's sad 😔

It was still on Origin when I checked a year or two ago. I think I remember hearing they took it off of their store since then though... Either way, there's still the physical version - provided you even have an optical disc drive lol. Imaging should work just as well, but you'll probably run into some issues with it being released so long ago.

The other issue is it being a console port and quality of life fixes. If I remember right, there's no way to change the FOV and it's really close to the player. Even more so in widescreen resolution, as it was one of those games that were made to be played in 4:3 resolution. Other than that, it does run on Win7, so there's a chance it might run on Win10 and Win11 with no issues.
