Grapple Hook, 3 or 4?

I'm really debating getting JC4 but I'm held back by the fact that they changed the way the grapple hook worked since that's 90% of my sandbox fun in this game. That being said, to anyone who's played both games, which system is better in your opinion? 3 which has more control over the contraction of the lines or 4 which is a preset and adds balloons?

JC4 grappling hook is very much geared towards content creator, with most of the "unique" interactions being kind of useless, past entertaining an audience, or yourself if you get off to things like that.

Personally I prefer 3's system, since i'm not entertained by things like that.

i really enjoyed 4 as well, but 3 is my favorite. you can wingsuit around a tornado in 4 so theres that. plus the destruction as usual. Its still fun for sure though.

4 is fun, you got balloon as an armor, explosive balloon, etc, but it feels too realistic for me, i prefer the 3rd one

If this is still up for debate, the whole control scheme of just cause 4 is better in my opinion. It's a good game for what it is. If you pick it up it would be best to wait till its on sale. Grappling Hook though? Just Cause 3 takes the cake. Just Cause 4's is basically a more stiff feeling version of Just Cause 3's. The only new thing added being different tethers. (obviously) So, yes I would recommend picking it up, It is and will always be a good game. But Just Cause 3's is better.
