Eden Airship tour 2 problem

Whenever I air brake to adjust my flight path at low altitude, Rico just lands, ending the challenge. Is this challenge impossible to to do perfectly?

It is not impossible to do perfectly but it isn't easy. Shocking as it might sound, I never break while doing these.

Yeah I did it without braking too some time later. For the first airship tour I found it absolutely necessary to do air brakes, that's why I started getting reliant on them and assumed all courses would need them. Turns out only the first one needs it and if you say so, I guess even that can be done without it, though I really don't see how (the first turn under the first drone is pretty much impossible without breaking as I saw it)

Tip for all of the Eden Airship tours: You don't need to hit perfect scores on all of the rings. The Bavarium Wingsuit is capable of theoretically infinite flight, and you accumulate points passively while you fly. You can fly in circles or around the course to gain enough points for a 5 gear rating.
