silent assault rifle

I keep getting this issue where my assault rifles will not have a firing sound. If anyone has ever encountered this bug and been able to fix it could you please tell me how you did it. Googling only led me to weapon switching bugs and nothing about silent firing.

hmm, I've had this issue before as well. The best understanding I have of the bug is that it tends to happen when you're shooting your gun while someone is talking through the radio. While I don't consider it a fix for the bug, switching out the gun you have for another will give you back the firing sound. It could also help if you verified your files by going into the steam library > right clicking just cause 3 > clicking properties > clicking the local files tab > and clicking the 'Verify Integrity of Game Files' button. This will scan the files of the game to ensure everything is working as intended.
