While you may not want to hear it, the main culprit for a PC actually shutting down is normally a hardware issue of somesort, ususally PSU related.

Just cause 3 is quite a performace heavy game , it could be non of your other games push your hardware as much as jc3, the more work your cpu and gpu have to do, the more power they pull from your psu, so that could be why you are only seeing it with this game.

See what happens if you play on the lowest settings and detail levels.

So Me playing Gta V on max and other Games that requires a substantial amount of everything my pc have to offer, JC3 is going to be too much for my pc? the game makes pc shut down after 1-2 hrs of gameplay. i have 181 games on my steam and 100+ on my pc, and this game is the one to make my pc fail? i can't see why, i just can't....

This actually happened to me years ago with The Division and Final Fantasy XIV Online. It turned out which PCI-E power plug mattered and not all rails drew the same amount of volts. Some were shared and some were not. Some how these games triggered the insuffient power threshhold and had my PC shutdown. Of course back then, I was naive about it and assumed it was either the game's fault or my PSU was faulty. Either way, once I got new PSU, I learned little more about the it and plug it into approrate slots. Once I did that, my system never experienced sudden shutdowns during gameplay.

This exactly. As I say depending on what is going on, games can put different strains on the hardware.

However again, the pc actually shutting down points at a hardware level issue, most likely psu.

Why would you playing GTA V be a comparrison? Just cause 3's minimums are actually higher than the Recommended for GTA V. While they may have similar gameplay jc3 needs much higher hardware.

GTA recommended
Processor: Intel Core i5 3470 @ 3.2GHZ (4 CPUs) / AMD X8 FX-8320 @ 3.5GHZ (8 CPUs)
Memory: 8GB.
Video Card: NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB / AMD HD7870 2GB

Just Cause 3 recommended:
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770, 3.4 GHz / AMD FX-8350, 4.0 GHz
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 (3 GB) / AMD R9 290 (4 GB)

While cpu's are similar, jc3 needs a much more powerful gpu.

As I say 1 thing to try for testing, is to lower jc3's to the bare minimum detail levels to put less strain on the computer and see how it plays. (though I know it will be ugly compared to max detail, but the idea is for the computer to draw less power and be under less stress to help rule out a hardware issue.
