well; i tried this.
however, the turning circle of the wingsuit is so darn large that it is not possible to turn around without leaving the course for more than 10 seconds (or using the parachute, which will insta-fail the challenge)
The courses I can't do are the ones that require barrel rolls. I can't for life of me consistantly pull them off. He always just spins around while boosting forward, not dodging to the side.
You can actually backtrack the direction you came from safely without going out of bounds. Distance racks up score, so backtracking the way you came can be very simple. Once you try this a few times (pick a 'clean area' for this part), you will develop a pattern of when to turn, and which way to turn safely. Up is generally good, but even if you deviate you can usually rush back to the course (going backward or forward; it's the vicinity that counts) without much trouble.
I learned to do this because of certain problematic courses with the regular wing-suit. Using the cable I was able to come about and re-climb steep cliffs. This can get very tricky, but on some courses it is actually very easy. Do a few laps and you can earn enough extra points to pad your score in case you goof during the rest of the track.
With this wing-suit I was often able to fly right back to the chopper and then back down the course with relative ease, then back again until I was confident I had enough points to finish and get those gears.
Do yourself a favor and don't get greedy about it. This was how I usually messed up because I would become bored after a few minutes and grow dull about my timing.
Hope this helps.
The main problem people have is that they just get the power wrong, or they're somehow of the mind that it's different. The bavarium wingsuit courses are way easier than Maxime and Mountain Marathon, where you can only miss one or two all the way through.
Aah, finally an useful post.
You are the first one to explain "how" to make tight turns instead of just saying "Make a tight turn you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥"
