Skip intro?
As absolutely epic as it is to watch Rico sit in a chair before waiting to connect to a server to play a single player game. I think I would prefer to not have to sit through it every time I launch the game.
Is there a setting I can tick or a file I can delete to disable that?

Also, has Rico always been Italian?

To add the launch options right click the game in Library and select Properties. On the general tab, click the Set Launch Options button and paste the next line in the empty box, click ok, and then close the Properties box:

--vfs-fs dropzone --vfs-archive patch_win64 --vfs-archive archives_win64 --vfs-fs

The game will skip to logging into the server and start loading the game. Enjoy!

It's actually loading the main game. The login happens after that, unless you're offline in which case it doesn't happen. And I think Medici is a mixture of Spanish and Italian culture and it's probably the best exposition of Rico's character and background in the whole series. By that's just me. :bull_graffiti:

I think Rico was actually born in Mexico, but grew up in Medici.

To skip the intro movie where Rico is in the chair on the beach; follow the directions here:

Good stuff. Whoever thinks making unskippable intros is a good idea should be fired.
