Yes this is the best JC game. Yes you should buy it.
As someone who has played Just Cause 3 and 4, I can confirm that 3 is much, much more fun in almost every way. At this price, you would be doing yourself a diservice not to buy it.

a lil bit of 2, and 3 is better in every way. 1 I havn't bothered with, as 2 was a pain.

I got the XXL Edition on humble for double the current price lol
I have such good memories with 2 because I was younger and me and my friend played it together, but JC3 is a better game in ever way.

Thanks but i dont think that i should buy it. Anything with denuvo that cost more than 0 is no sale in my book.
Though 2.99 is nice sale.

I'm surprised, because I've never heard or read anyone claiming that JC3 is better than 2. I have a number of friends who are fans of JC who've owned all 4 and there seems to be consensus among them that 2 was the best in the series. I know there wasn't any mplay in the original JC2, but there was a terrific fan-made that added it. Anyhow...to each their own I guess.

I watched my son's frustration with this game slowing and occasionally crashing when he bought it at release. I assumed that was Denuvo, as he wasn't having similar problems with any other games at the time. I was genuinely interested in this at it's sales price, but I came here to find out if the dev's had finally pulled Denuvo. With it still in though, I'll be passing on this too.

I'm not too concerned with whether or not it's better than the second, I'm more interested to know if it (and the DLC) are worth the sale. I don't care about Denuvo.

If you enjoyed Just Cause 2, yes, it's worth buying. The devs perfectly re-created the combat & sense of mayhem in JC3.

3's main issue is that the map is several times larger than 2's, but there aren't more settlements / forts, so there are large swaths of the map that are just empty. The addition of the wingsuit means you can traverse the map a bit faster, which kind of makes up for it, but not entirely.

Yeah, I'm going to have to disagree with the game being worth it. Forcing the player to do challenges in order to upgrade gear is incredibly dumb. Sure, the old system was tedious and boring but forcing the player to play challenges they don't like is worse. In JC2 you could pick and choose what ones you wanted to do, there wasn't any pressure to do it if you didn't want to. Add that to somehow even worse controlling vehicles and what appears to be actually less content. This is looking like a refund to me.

Ouch, I'm sry m8. I agree that the vicle controls suck, but with practice it gets better, not that that is a valid defense, cuz of it's not. But I acually enjoyed unlocking the gears, and flying arouhnd liberating everything. Sry ya didn't like it, that sucks :/
