Did you get a video of it? That sounds awesome
I don't even know what hacking the train does, I thought it would derail it.

I bought the XL edition with all the DLC. As I always do in open world games that allow you to unlock districts, I beat every region very early on before I'd even done the mission to grant removal of FOW, interspersed with beating the Sky Base in the DLC. Doing that earned me the powered wingsuit with the missile/machinegun attachments. Then I beat the Stingray DLC, and now I'm back to the main story.
Everything is so much fun with that wingsuit. I don't know if I'm especially good with it or if everyone flies as well as I do, but the point is it makes you feel like a god when you're taking on difficult bases. I was in two minds about the game, but the new wingsuit made me love the game completely. It's like the difference between playing FIFA and Rocket League, and makes the words "PURE GAMEPLAY EXPERIENCE" light up in my head. So many games make you feel like control and excitement are being stolen from you, so I love the rare cases that hand you true joy.
So these have been my best moments: flying through tiny spaces in oil rigs, mining equipment, Stingray naval bases, looping out the other side, swooping around while dodging SAMs, taking out targets. Loved it.
Hacking the trains makes their onboard missile silos shoot enemies for you (but it also has a tendency to result in train carriages getting spilled all over the tracks). Hack one, stay on it until you see the opposite line's train coming, jump on that and hack it too. Then watch the fun.
best place is around the bavarium mines :)
