Toggling aim.

Is there any way to change the way "Precision Aiming" works in this game to hold instead of click? I'd much rather be able to hold down the button.

It boggles my mind that there's apparently no option for this. You know, like in virtually every other game.

Why is this an issue? It isn't used often, and really shouldn't be anyway, as it bugs out some features anyway, so using it is a waste of time. There is no reason to have that option for a broken control.

Nice out of context qoute, the rest of my comment explains why I say that, and why it really isn't a good idea to use it. If you want to be like this in forums, just taking bits from comments, just to suit what you want to say, I can see why nobody else cares enough to reply here.

You words weren't taken out of context. Nothing in your post qualifies your explicit statement that Precision Aim is not used often in the game. You're asserting a statement of fact for which the OP rightfully challenges that this is not true for all players. Further, he's not being disingenuos with the quote since your entire post remains clearly visible above.

The OP's complaint is legitimate and the fact that this feature is broken with limited utility doesn't diminish his concern. The lack of responses is strictly because this is an older game that not many people are still playing and for which even fewer people use this forum.

To get back to the OP's original question, there is no way to change the way Precision Aim works and there is little chance of this changing since the developers have long since ceased updating this game.

Thank you for actually saying something constructive. I realize that the odds of this being remedied officially are slim, but I figured that there might have been a mod or something to that effect around that could be useful. Like how there's a mod to adjust the Field of View.

Oh well, what a shame.

As for taking things out of context - I did not. I quoted the most relevant part of the statement. That's how quotes work. I did not misrepresent the statement in any way whatsoever. I reduced it to it's core message, as the rest was irrelevant. Including it would not have changed it's meaning.

It would, as I said it shouldn't be used, not that nobody uses it. The part you quoted changed the meaning of the comment. Regardless, this thread is resolved, so there's no reason to continue it.
