Just Cause 3

Just Cause 3

This game breaks my xbox one controller's vibration.
Not only does vibration not work in this game, but it actually causes my controller not to send feedback in other games after playing this. The only solution is to unplug and then plug back in the controller usb.

I tested all this by switching back and forth between rocket league and just cause 3. If I start up just cause 3 before rocket league, the controller's vibration doesn't work for both games. However, if I replug the controller and start up rocket league first, the controller's vibration suddenly works again.

I don't know what the hell is going on with this game. Any solutions out there?

Does anybody else's controller vibration not work with this game?

I tested my old xbox 360 controller and everything worked. Not only that, but there was no memory leak as well.

It seems xbox one controllers leak vibration data and cause big memory leaks. That not only explains why I wasn't feeling any vibration but also why my memory went all the way to 65%. As soon as I unplugged and replugged the controller the memory jumped down back to 15% lol

It seems the only way I'm going to enjoy this game with a controller is to dust off my old 360. It's a shame because I'm used to the feel of the xbox one controller and prefer it as my main.

I don't know about the vibration, but the memory leak i have too. For me it even goes to 99 % making the game unplayable.

Just plug in the XB One controller once the game is up and running. That workaround has been around since the beginning. No need for another controller

That does work for a little while and then the vibration leaks again. Also, I don't want to keep replugging. I'm fine with using my 360 controller for this game.
