Bugs on steam deck

When playing on Steam Deck, FMVs don't work except when playing on Proton 5. However, in most versions of Proton but especially Proton 5, the music bugs out and either plays halfway through the track that's meant to play, or doesn't play at all.

In all versions I've tried (forgotten which exactly but Proton experimental was one of them), the game freeze crashes as soon as Lara dies, forcing me to force-quit the game and relaunch before I can reload. It's super annoying,

How can I fix all of those bugs above so I can play with working FMVs, working music and no freezing on death? Bear in mind I have Tomb 2 Main installed (without the extra options as those require a Linux registry editor to install) but that isn't the cause, as others have those bugs too when I looked them up on Proton DB.

I was unable to play on steam deck at all. Tried every proton version, even proton-ge and luxtorpeda but nothing.

My Steamdeck operates the same for me. No FMVs. I'm trying to tinker with it. No luck. Where's Night Dive Studios when you need them? I'd be thrilled for proper TR classic remasters.

Same. I'm even playing System Shock 1 Enahnced Edition as I type this.

On Proton 5.13-6 I get working FMVs but I encounter the same music bugs. I also get occasional crashes when using the save game and load game options

Just following up on this because I've been playing around trying to get Tomb Raider 2 Gold to work on Steam Deck and in doing so I've accidentally gotten Tomb Raider 2 working a little better.

It seems to work with all music, sound effects etc on Proton 6 now. Theme plays normally, Lara speaks on the assault course, music plays in the house and all the ambient background noises and stuff are working.... Only FMVs stopped working properly though and now show blank screen with just sound.

fmvs work now. but i cant backflip from a ladder and roll to face the other way in the air. stuck on temple of xian (steam deck)

hmm. it looks like the game has come a long way on steamdeck cause i experienced no issues and made it to venice with no problems. 3 cheers for steamdeck devs on improving their proton packs. hip hip hooray!

Is this in vanilla TR2 or with TR2 Main? The former works fine for me now too as well as my copy of Golden Mask vanilla (sourced via my CD) though I'd like to have Main working as well like the other four. Not that it matters too much now that the remasters are out but it'd still be cool.
