Is it just me or is Ophelias army super unbalanced?
Most of her units seem like 10x stronger than anything I can make. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to upgrade my units? The game is fun but these RTS style battles are kinda just bad... I always get about 1-2 hits and then I am dead from her, yet it takes me like 1 minute straight to kill those stupid electric machines of hers. Why does my party feel so weak? Is this intended? It says in the tour book that they are upgradable, but how? They all seem so weak. Even the metal beasts I just got die in a few hits, and most of her units takes 10-20+ hits. How is that balance?

Just you. Her units are not stronger than yours, it might seem that way only if they have a bunch of Organists around. She has the weakest units of all until all her debuffers come into play. The only way a Metal Beast could die in a few hits is against a Reaper, and you shouldn't send a Metal Beast to fight a Reaper.

You can upgrade your first three units (Headbanger, Razorgirl and Thunderhog). Open the recruit menu and just hold your selection over them, it will tell you to press a certain button to upgrade them (costs 200 fans for each infantry to be upgraded, and 150 for the Thunderhog). Upgraded Razorgirls are extremely good units, especially when Double Teamed with (can't block those attacks), and Thunderhogs are really good healers and stunners with their double teams.

Also, have you done any killing of your own? Fly to the enemy units and fight them yourself before they can even get to any geysers, do that and you shouldn't have trouble with any RTS battle, because the AI doesn't do the same. Watch your health and try not to get taken out by the Electric Cars or Ophelia double teaming with a Bride, know when to retreat and come back.

TL:DR Git gud, RTS battles are great.

Oh, no I had no idea they could be upgraded, the game only taught me how to summon them. I mean I knew about the stage upgrades, but thank you so much for letting me know about the upgrades. And yes I try to kill things all alone as just Eddie. It just seems things never die. Do you perhaps know what is the best axe to use? I will surely try upgrading them tho, god that has to be easier. I have never done that at all, perhaps that is why it is so hard. Wonder why they never even said anything about it?

-Always use Battle Cry solo to buff your unit before engage
-Try to use facemelter solo to clear group of shovel dude
-Don't use Metal beast because they only win against shovel dude(which you can facemelt them
right away) and they also bad against those electric vehicle
-Use Fire baron or Razorgirls to counter Reaper
-Look out for Ophelia double team with Bride they deal a lot of damage
-Any axe is viable but i use sharp axe for extra damage
-Boucer(giant fist one) are the counter for those electric vehicle so get 2or3 of them in your army
is very useful
-For me i use combinnation of 2 Thunderhogs,1or2 Fire barons,1or2 Boucer,1 Headspilter and fill
the rest with Razorgirls and Headbangers
Cool, thank you for the info, I look forward to trying again> I have trouble with the face melter solo, as it takes so long I get pummeled while soloing. I don't really know the range of it, Dont you have to be surrounded by enemies?

Both are sub par vhoices for the Reaper. Fire Baron throws projectiles, which the Reaper can just outrun, and Razorgirls are infantry, and the Reaper is an infantry killer (though Upgraded Razorgirls would be good when double teamed with VS the Reaper). The best unit against Reapers would be the Headsplitter, as it's a vehicle.

For the axe, I'd recommend either the Lightning Axe, or the Blood Sucker? (the one that gives you health back for every hit, let's you stay in a fight longer). Burning Guitar is the best guitar.

Oh my bad, I am using the Elctric Guitar, woops. And my axe is the hunters gift axe, it is kinda garbage lol.
Well thanks everyone for your help, but yeah I give up on this stupid game. That stupid tree is unkillable, and Ophelia has no unit cap yet I do and a very low unit cap I might add, very stupid. But the game was fun while it lasted...

Well if the RTS controls were not so stupid then sure I might play it more, I mean I beat all the SC II's but you know, those are good blanced games. Everyone says that her units are the weakest and yet they basicly one shot all my units, so if she is the weakest then it goes to say that stronger units must be able to kill with less than one hit. I tried everything that everyone said and still Eddie's units suck ♥♥♥♥... I mean after I destroyed the electric towers and just watched as endless units pushed all the way to my stage, one shotting everything I threw at them. So what was I supposed to do?

It will help if you make sure have an army with the fullest. Besides the Rockcrusher, have some Headbangers, Razor Girls and a Thunderhog all upgraded as Dawg said. Dawg didn't mention this but you should also use the Light of Dawn solo, this solo cancels out any debuff units that Drowning Doom have such as the Organist and Diligrible, Which means your army will be at their strongest and Opheila's army won't do much good for the amount of the time the Light of Dawn solo is in effect. Also would help to have the Bring it on Home solo ready as well.

The key really is not rush into Opheila's stage and make sure you use the solos properly as needed.

Problem I have with the solos is, how far is the range? And they take too damn long to do and you are defenseless when playing solos

Use the Light of Dawn solo immediately after taking down the towers, the Light of Dawn effects the entire map. And Bring it on Home when as soon as you kill the treeback. The Bring it on Home solo has a long range.
It effects the whole map?! Wow that is awesome, I really wish they would have told me that, I suppose I might just have to look up a guide for the dragons too, I have found some but there is no way I have found all that I could by now.
