How am I supposed to beat Ophelia (1st fight)?! Am I missing something?

I got to the very first battle against Ophelia (I read that there are even more, I can't even imagine how they must be) and yesterday I spent about an hour trying to beat it and today close to 2 hours, but it just keeps going on and on. I'm seriously annoyed and starting to hate whoever that the ingenious idea to make this section of the game. How am I supposed to beat it?
I tried conquering all the towers first, but after realizing that I couldn't manage to keep more than 3 alive at time I decided to change technique, so then I tried to charge all the army directly to her stage and attack and set a beacon so that as they spawned they'd go directly there, but that kept going for an eternity and they never managed to destroy the stage. Then I noticed that as they kept charging to the stage the enemies would be distracted by my army so they weren't able to protect one of the towers of the ones I couldn't get before so I sent a small party there to conquer it and managed to do it, then sent that party to one of the towers in front of her stage and even managed to conquer one, so there was only one left to conquer, but never managed to get that one since as my army was trying to destroy it and being killed by the enemies, more enemies would conquer the two I conquered previously. Oh, and I haven't even mentioned how OP the enemies are compared to my army, the electric shooting cars and the stroler are especially annoying.
So, charging to the stage doesn't work, trying to get all the towers doesn't work, what am I supposed to do?!
I don't usually give up on a game, but after wasting a sum of close to 3 hours on this section I'm seriously considering uninstalling which is a shame because I was enjoying the game so far.

First fight ? hmm must be the Dry Ice Graveyard section. That area has 2 separate routes towards enemy stage, but what i did was just keep focusing on one single route without worrying too much about other towers being attacked. Summoned only heavy-type troops like Bouncers ,Roadies and Metal Beasts. But if you ran out of fans, get some more Headbangers for melees.

Sometimes Ophelia plays the solo which makes everything green looking, which that'll nerf your troops damage attacks. So always do the Battle Cry solo to buff them back. And of course play the Rally Raid solo so that everyone you spawned will arrive at where you played despite the distance.

I cannot guarantee that this might work for your gaming purpose but this is exactly what i just did and passed it. Requires also some luck bro.

Have you actually tried fighting enemy troops yourself? This is something that Ophelia barely does herself unless units from both sides are fighting in a location, and she's not even that good at it. It should be extremely easy. The person on the video wasted way too much time just waiting at the stage building his army and walking to the leech with them following, never doing commands from the air, etc...

At the very beginning, do the Summon Flag solo and place it near one of the leeches, then just spam units while fighting enemy on the other side yourself, eventually change the location of the flag to the other leech, then when you feel comfortable/have a big enough army (in the meantime, protecting your own or harassing her when building it up), go for her stage. If Ophelia's on Tier 2 or above building Lightning Rods and such, then you're just too slow and not doing any fighting yourself. If you have Thunder Hogs, jump on every once in a while and stun the enemies.

I mean, the 2nd Stage Battle in the game is doable with just the scripted Lita/Lars/normal Ophelia spawns:

Ophelia doesn't have solos that debuff your troops. Only her units can do that (Brides make everyone slower, Organist makes everyone do less damage).

Thank you all, I "studied" your tips and the video I had linked and finally managed to beat it and it was in just like 10 minutes or so. What a huge difference being fast and not letting Ophelia get her stage to tier 2 made.

B Dawg, I just want to mention that I wasn't able to watch the video you linked because it's blocked where I'm am due to copyright. I tried changing the IP to other countries using a VPN, but I didn't manage to get any to work.
