I also might have less upgrades than most people do. I mostly rushed story missions.
This game should be a God of War clone and not a Starcraft clone.
It's like being upset at Warcraft 3 for not letting you play as Thrall the whole game past the tutorial sequence, lol.
I played the demo, and was super hype for a classic Schaifer action adventure game, ala psychonauts, with a metal story, hilarious writing, and cool characters... That's what the game was built up as for all the marketing, all the gameplay they showed just had the action and open world elements....
SO, I rent the game, super hype for an action packed adventure.....
Aaaaaaand it turns into a terrible RTS after about 40 minutes. RIP.
they are a cool idea on paper but they are just shoved down your throat.
the fact that half the game you fight against a clone of own faction, and that there is only 1 mission fighting Deviculu's demon army doesn't help either
We want a heavy metal Darksiders, like the commercials promised. Not a crappy console RTS.
I agree 100%. I managed to play it for 6 hours before giving up. The RTS in this game is just not fun. RTSs work if they're top-down, not if they're in first person, at least in my opinion.
